Founded in 2017 – DCG209 is located in California’s Central Valley, near Modesto, in Turlock. Our mission is to bridge the DEF CON Group communities of DC559 (Fresno) and DC916 (Sacramento) while representing and uniting ethical hackers from the entire 209 region—and beyond.

Our Mission

DCG209 exists to share knowledge, sharpen skills, and foster a safe, inclusive community for hackers of all levels—from first-timers to seasoned InfoSec pros. Whether you’re into red teaming, blue teaming, hardware hacking, OSINT, or reverse engineering—if you’re curious and willing to learn, there’s a place here for you.

What to Expect

Expect real talk, real tech, and real community. We host monthly meetups, workshops, and presentations focused on security, privacy, and ethical hacking. No sales pitches. No gatekeeping. Just signal—no noise.
